Stacia Trickey

Stacia is a mixed media artist with an experimental style influenced by punk music. She repurposes and recycles found materials.

This is a mixed media piece created on an old wooden film reel. It features singer Debbie Harry in the centre, with gold leaf and acrylic paint techniques

This embroidery piece was created during an Art Shape Course on Local Folklore. It is rich with meaning as it relates to Stacia's Polish ancestry.

This piece entitled ‘The Star of Debbie’ was created on a wooden reel and incorporates an acrylic pour technique with a blend of collage work.

 

This work incorporates multiple layers and experimental techniques. Gold leaf was applied and dry-brushed on the relief texture.

and was completed as a final project for a course.​
